Ocean Marketing: How do you ruin a reputation?

Howdo you ruin a reputation?  You do it by attacking your clients’user base.
N-Controlhas a product coming out called the Avenger Controller.  TheAvenger is an adapter that goes over your buttons and speeds up yourresponse time in gaming. The Avenger actually is getting some goodreviews overall...then Ocean Marketing hit the fan.
Acustomer sent E-mail to Ocean Marketing asking about the Avengercontroller delivery date.    The response he got backfrom OM was less than professional. After a few replies, thingsstarted to get unprofessional fast.
Fromthe Penny Arcade (They have all the e-mails)
((Thingshappen in manufacturing if your unhappy you have 7 days from the dayyour item ships for a refund. You placed a pre order just like anysoftware title the gets a date moved due to the tweaks and bugs notbeing worked out and GameStop or any other place holds your cash andim sure you don’t complain to activision or epic games so put onyour big boy hat and wait it out like everyone else. The benefit is atoken of our appreaciation for everyone no one is special includingyou or any first time buyer .))
Yeah, that is a little snappy isn’t it?  Thingswent downhill from there, with Ocean Marketing guy bragging aboutknowing the editors some videogame sites.
((LOL Thanksfor the Free PR I know the Editor N Chief of Kotaku , IGN ,Engadget I’ll be meeting them at CES.The noise complaint wasfor people high up on the food chain in a corporate world of realestate you have no clue about. Thanks for the Rice Rocket Complimenttoo love me some motorcycle . Send that over to Engadget you looklike a complete moron swearing and sending your customer servicecomplaints to a magazine as if they will post it or even payattention do you think you’re the first or the last what are theygoing to do demand us to tell you were your shipment is or ask for arefund on your behalf … Really … Welcome to the Internet ? Son Im38 I wwebsite as on the internet when you were a sperm in your daddysballs and before it was the internet, thanks for the welcome tomessage wurd up. Grow up you look like a complete child bro. I Don’thave my controller so im gonna cry to the world … Really ?? Heytake that free time and do something more productive. All you had todo was check the like everyone else , people have inquired but you’rethe douchiest of them all J))
Pleasetake note of the “wwebsite as on the Internet”, becausethis thing went viral and turned into meme.  So much so,that even Geico made fun of it!  From Geico’s twitter, ((Greatsavings, outstanding service, and a proven 75-year track record. Andwe will never wwebsite as on the Internet.))
Youhave to feel bad when a damn insurance company makes fun of you.
Thebest part about the story is that Ocean Marketing changed their nameto Ocean Strategy (onTwitter) after the Internet fallout. It reminds me of the namechanging game that security companies do when they take a lot ofheat. If you keep the Ocean part of your name, people are stillgoing to remember that you are a D-bag.
So,who is hated more Rick Strong Perry or Paul Christoforo?
Trustme, there is more to the story, which I haven't even dug into yet.
